Hello, everyone. In lieu of Jerry, I decided to use this medium to thank everyone who has been so supportive to Jerry and the family during his illness and his passing. At the same time, congratulations to all who have put in their effort in making this site happen.
Lastly, may I request anyone who has a photo of Jerry's during grade school and highschool to please lend them to me so I can include it in his videography which we are finalizing. This is basically for my boys who are too young to remember their dad. It would also be wonderful if you can email me an anecdote of your best memory of Jerry so the boys may somehow get to know their father better.
Again, many thanks and congratulations on your coming homecoming.
All the best,
Denise

I saw Ariel last July 2 at the wake for his dad and my very dear friend and respected colleague, Alfredo Decena. Ariel's dad was a good man and a hardworking and loyal colleague and friend. We worked together for 10 years (1982-92) in Saudi Arabia as part of SGV Arabia Ltd. We even shared the same bedroom for over a year. I feel sad that he has gone. I thank him for his time spent witth me, and I will cherish his memory. May he rest in peace in the arms of God.

Kumusta na! It's been 24 years since we left Lourdes & all of us seem to be so busy running our own lives. Most are in the either the Philippines or the US or on a rare occassion in Australia. Well, the last time I went home was 1999!
I just think that we are in the day & age & technological era where we could have a sort of LSQC Batch 81 Global Reunion! It may not be in the next 2 or 3 years but surely we should have it in the next couple of years. We're in the age where we could all of us could celebrate at about the same time, same date, in different key locations...dancing, drinking, enjoying ourselves on a video link all over the world. I do not know of how & when but I think we should give ourselves a pat on the backs & try to make this huge event a reality - I know we can do it! It's a big organisational nightmare but I'm sure with all our skills, we could pull it off.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Cheers from Perth,
Ernie

Mga kapatid ko batch 81,
I have not been with you for so long. I miss the old days. I have been commuting between Ontario, CA and Rockford, IL. My family is still in CA (homebase) and I work now for a health care skilled nursing corporation. Ngayon pa lang ako nagkaroon ng panahon to get updated.. sorry. I do need to get back in touch with you guys. Let me know of what's happening. Ariel do you need help to update the site? Let get some news going on. Sabik din ako sa mga news ninyo. Airel did you ever get my family pictures?
My brother Jonathan lives here in Rockford, IL Should have been a part of batch 82.
I am still recovering and on rehab for my car accident here in IL Interstate 90 going towards Chicago last year August 23rd. Total wreck ang kotse ko. I broke my left arm in two sections and broke both legs. God's blessing I am already walking and driving again. May konti pang limp pag naglalakad. During the accident there were two EMS ambulance Four 911 fire emergency crews (this people extracted me out of my car using the jaws of life) and one lifeline helicopter. I thought I will already loose my life. Eveything flashbacked specially my family. Second lfe ko na ito. I still am thanking the God for my life. Mahirap pala mamatay ang masamg damo...hehehehehe. Kung sino man ang tiga-illinois sorry sa traffic na ginawa ko at 5AM on a friday day of the accident . Traffic was seven miles long and it took three hours from west to east to reach chicago.
Anyhow, please do e-mail me back need more updates wiht you guys. Plus, my eldest Jessica will be in College already. Just finished high school this year. My second daughter Stacey will be freshman in high school. The boy Jericho just turned 8 and will be third grade and my youngest Lean Anna will be 6 this coming October and be first grade this Sept. My wife is doing great just that we have to plan our ways through this commuting of mine. mahirap ang magkalayo. I miss them so much.
Again, e-mail me back dudes.
Good Luck & God Bless to everyone.

Hi. I'm so surprised to see that a website for and about lourdesians '81, though unofficial, exists. It's so nice that you people are getting in touch with one another through the web. Fraternal bonding is very evident among LSQC graduates and this is very Franciscan! I am here in California having my one-year sabbatical leave. I'm taking the sabbatical program at School of Applied Theology - Graduate Theological Union at Berkeley. It's nice to be having a respite from the school ministry. Imagine, I've spent 21 continuous years in the school apostolate (12 at LSQC and 9 at LSM). I thank God for giving me a break! As soon as I come home next year after my European pilgrimage, I'd be at LSM for another term. More power to all you guys and God bless you all! LOURDES FOREVER! Fraternally, Fr. Ed, OFM Cap.

I belong to class '72 and a Lourdesian since Kindergarten. I have a lot of classmates residing here in the States especially in the LA area. The last time i was in touch with them was over 2 years ago when we had a mini-reunion (in LA) with Mr. Paras. I have been out of touch because I decided to go back to school. I recently graduated and back in circulation. Cobgratulations. PAX ET BONUM!

I am an LSQC graduate of 1959, is there a possibility of having a larger scope homepage for alumni of LSQC? Couldn't your batch sponsor it as a worthwhile endeavor considering that you have the skills to implement it? I currently reside in Australia and I am very much interested in communicating with some of my classmates and contemporaries. Anyway, many thanks for even considering this proposal.

Folks, next year marks our 20th year. Batchmates from the other part of the globe would want to hold a reunion. Let's try to go for it. We'll be 25 at 2006. Are we preparing for something? Are you interested in contributing anything? Don't hold back, we must move on. I plan to set-up our batch directory. So, I appeal to your senses to forward communication lines to me at telephone numbers 523-4873 or 523-4849 (office) or 371-4986 (residence) or 0919-7015172 (text) or mail at dgochangco@hotmail.com or omnicare@philonline.com. Thank you and looking forward to meeting you once more.

Well, we are approaching our 20th year, wala bang alumni homecoming in 2001. Although I still get in touch with fellow classmates such as Roehl Dumlao, Eric Constantino, Boyet Edmilao (who is based in Cagayan de Oro) and the group of the CAT officers are mostly intact. Well I hope to see you all, I am now based in Bacolod City with my family. I have 5 kids ages 12,11,10,7,5. Eto na muna and please keep in touch. Raul

Dear Ariel, I've just come accross with this LSQCweb here in my office and, maybe, i'm the only member of my Section, St. Paul, who were presently able to find this. Anyway, you've made the best job of getting our batch closer together and able to link each other to the present world. If ever, could I send my Updated Profile through this E- mail, OK? Congrats Again and Proud to be a part of IT!!! MON RAMIREZ

Hello folks. How have you been doing for the last 19 years (kung may anak na tayo noong high school, pa graduate na ngayon ng college). Thank to Ricky de Guzman for telling me about our Web site. So it all begins here. Sama-sama naman ang batch 81 (ang titindi talaga natin ano). Do you still remember our SIC's during those years. Say, blocking the stairways during recess. Siguro naman after 19 long years its easy to give away a piece of pad paper instead of 25 centavos. Wala bank cornick - 50 centavos lang talo-talo na sa tabi ng AV room. For my other e-mail address 'dgochangco@hotmail.com' Reply na lang kayo folks.

To see that Lourdes badge put me back to 1975. A lot of good wonderful memories. I would have been in the batch of 76 if my family didn't migrate to the US. I'm sorry to hear that Mr. Lozada have past away. He was a good Bio teach and not to mention also a good canteen owner. It is also nice to hear familiar name like Mr.Lorenzana, Mr. Santos. they were my teacher before they took higher office. By the way I have meet Miss Ferrer as she was known back in the late 60's or now Mrs. Dison here in New York. I also spoke to Mr. Rok (Algebra Teacher). Thanks to Bacth 81 for this website. It brought a smile in my face to see that never fading L O U R des badge.

Hindi ko akalain na meron palang web site ang Batch 81. I have always been wondering what happened to our ka-batch. Base ako dito sa Houston, TX and I go home twice a year. I always see Ricky de Guzman. Nakikita ko rin sina Omar Rigor, Allan Escalona, Naning Almeda, Jun Baytion and Louie Tengco. In fact, about two years we had an inuman sa restaurat ni Omar. Dito naman sa States, ang nakita ko lang batch natin ay si Ebbot Nacion. He's based in Huntington Beach, Ca. Hanggang ngayon, chick-boy pa rin! He visited me here in Houston. That's it for now. I'll keep in touch!

PAX ET BONUM fellow Lourdesians! Even though i was born a year after you guys graduated, having a website of LSQC, even though not of my batch, makes me so proud of being a Lourdesian. I graduated batch '99 and now a first year student of DLSU, studying Computer Science. My dad, and my uncle graduated also in LSQC, but i don't remember what batch they graduated from, think batch '63 or '64, and my 2 bros, also graduated batch 92 and 94, and had a cousin who graduated the same batch as mine. Good work sirs! Peace and Goodwill... ANIMO LSQC!

EXTREMELY IMPRESSIVE!!! I was real glad to find a website of my fellow Lourdesians.I am from batch '69 but did not graduate HS in Lourdes.Pinalayas ako ni Fr. Arrieta after being there from Prep. to 2nd yr.I was in our jubilarian reunion in Feb.94; I believe the last one for Mr. Lozada. I was so surprise to see that LSQC (batch '81) has a website. I have a son who is in first grade. I know he has a long way to go. I hope they'll have their own website too someday. I am showing this to him when he comes home.
