2004

This year was full of activities to raise the needed funds in preparation for our Silver Jubilee.

2004 1Q

Due to funding constraints, we were not able to register as a foundation.  LSQC Pusong 81, Inc was registered instead as a non-stock, non-profit, non-VAT association with the SEC.  A new set of officers were elected as follows:

This board held almost weekly meetings from this point forward.  During these board meetings, there were instances that some Pusong 81 members were also in attendance such as Dicky Gochangco/Eymard Javier/Jing Pineda, Rico dela Fuente, etc.  Usual meeting place was at the Double Deck Grill and Restaurant, Ortigas Avenue Extension.  Some meetings were held in Makati and in QC.

The first general assembly of Pusong 81, Inc. was held on January 17, 2004 at the Double Deck Grill and Restaurant.

We had several fund raising projects at this time as well such as selling of the LSQC Pusong 81 umbrella and the Hard Rock café ticket sales.

2004 2Q

On May 2004, we had the 1st LSQC Pusong 81 Inc. funshoot dubbed "Putok mula sa Puso" held May 1-2, 2004 at the PBDionisio Firing Range.  Proceeds of this event was added too our funds.  Results as follows:

2004 (3Q-4Q)

We held the 2004 3Q Fellowship at Double Deck Grill and Restaurant on August 28, 2004.

We held the 2004 4Q Fellowship at Double Deck bar on December 11, 2004.  We also conducted a mini-raffle to raise funds for the typhoon victims.  Raffle prizes were donated by Pusong 81 from excess gifts/corporate give-aways etc that they may have. 

We were able to raise P6,000.  This was originally intended to buy infant formula for the typhoon victims in Infanta,Quezon.  However, the group opted to donate in cash to the ABS-CBN Foundation's (AFI) Sagip Kapamilya and give the AFI project managers a free hand to fill in the more needed items in the area.
