PUSONG 81 is intented for those alumni who were with us during our elementary years or first to third year high school but were not able to join us in our fourth year. This may be because they transferred school, gone abroad, etc. Whatever be the reason, you still became a part of us in our school years. I invite you to submit your profile updates as well. FACULTY, obviously is intended for faculty members of Lourdes School in general. All present and past faculty members are invited to submit their profiles. You may or may not have experienced Batch 81's quietude, peacefulness, serenity (tama na at kumukulog na, kidlat na ang kasunod niyan). The first entry of the FACULTY page is Mrs. Teodie Canave. Ang daya lang ni ma'am, hindi binigay yung year of birth niya.

Congratulation and Best wishes to Eric Constantino (yes, sirs..our very own Batman-este BatComm pala) and Marichelle Hipolito who tied the knot on November 12, 2000.

Gulat ka no Eric kung paano namin naitakas ang picture mong ito. Huwag mo ng alamin kung sino sino ang mga salarin he he he. Marichelle, tapat mo lang ng matagal ang mouse cursor sa picture mo at baka sakaling matupad ang request mo.

Finally, Batch 81 held a major get-together yesterday December 2, 2000. The brainchild of Drs. Manny Kwek and Alvin Agustin, batch members were contacted and told of a plan to have a get together either on December 2 or 3. Emails went as far as to the U.S. informing known batchmates of this event. From a confirmed listing of only 15, the list increased to 20, then 23 then 26 on the morning of December 2. Although some confirmed attendees did not make it, the total number that night who were actually present was 25. Also in attendance was the class adviser of Batch 81-St. Dominic, Mrs. Teodie Canave.

The event was held at Dencio's at Sct. Albano dahil malapit daw sa place of work ko kuno. Anyways, nakuha naman natin ang 10% discount for ABS-CBN employees kaya ayos na di ba?

Early birds were RT Gonzales, JunJun Casillan and Jing Zubiri (with his two sons). I arrived together with Mrs. Canave. Ray Elido and Alvin Agustin arrived soon thereafter. Bawa't dumating ay pumipili ng upuan na nakaharap sa may entrance para bawa't pumasok ay titignan. You should have seen the different reaction sa mukha kapag may papasok at biglang magsasalita ng 'O si ano yan di bah?'.

Marami pang mga kwento tungkol sa get-together na ito. Lalo na syempre ang mga pix at susubukan din namin ang mga movie strips. Pero for now, patitikimin lang muna namin kayo. RT Gonzales will be submitting his write up on the topics discussed, mga kwentong barberong nangyari, mga alaskahan at iba pa. Pictures are now being scanned, enhanced, captioned, etc for all your viewing pleasure. Ika nga ng isang serye sa TV...abangan ang susunod na kabanata.

Pero para lalo pa kayong maengganyong balik-balikan ang mga susunod naming ulat tungkol sa pagtitipong ito, narito ang email na pinadala ni Rick Patriarca on Friday before the get-together, Alvin on Sunday morning and from Roehl on Monday morning:

I am delighted to hear that you are having your Reunion. Unfortunately, 
I am unable to share the joy in your celebration. This is one opportunity 
I have been looking forward to being part of it, now that it is here; I 
still could not manage to be part of it. This is more to do with timing 
more than anything else. If I have known that this is in the pipeline
for some time, I could have arranged it so I could visit you guys. Alvin, 
why did you not tell me this early on? Surely you and Ariel must have been 
cooking this idea for sometime and you never mention anything to me about 
it. There is no doubt that I will be missing the fun and the food to say 
the least! Nevertheless, I wish you all a happy boozy time and I am sure 
you will enjoy meeting once more your old friends and recall the notoriety 
of your high school days. Whoever masterminded this affair deserve a kudos 
from me. I wish you and your family a wonderful time on this special 
occasion.

Sa lahat ng nag-attend sa ating maliit na salu-salo kagabi, 
maraming maraming salamat sa inyo. Sana sa uulitin na 
pagtitipon ay mas maraming makarating. Sayang at hindi 
nakapunta yung iba pang mga ka-batchmates na nag-confirm dahil
na-miss nila ang kulitan at kakulitan nila Jun Baytion, Ricky 
de Guzman at ni Pidol! Siguro sa February 2001 ay magkita-kita
tayong muli sa alumni homecoming sa Lourdes. 
 
Ayusin natin ang network ng Class 81 dahil sino-sino pa ba ang
magtutulungan kundi tayo-tayo rin.
